     Disabled American Veterans, Charitable Service Trust

​

The Beloit Foundation

​

Provided a $75,000 grant in 2011 to assist with the opening of the transitional shelter. In 2015 they provided a grant of $150,000.00 to assist with the renovation of an existing wing for the long-term, single occupancy housing units for the veterans. The Hendricks  Family Foundation

​

The Hendricks Family Foundation has been a long-standing supporter of our mission. In 2011, they awarded a $75,000 grant to help open our transitional shelter. In 2015, they contributed $150,000 for the renovation of long-term, single-occupancy housing units for veterans. Most recently, in 2024, they provided $200,000 to support the ongoing operations of our homeless veteran transitional living program. Frito Lay, Beloit Wisconsin

​

Frito Lay sponsored a room for $10,000. They sent volunteers and covered the cost of building out our donation room. They washed 200 loads of donated clothing. They donated a semi trailer to the facility. They pick up, and haul, donated furniture for Full Circle Furnishings. They created an outdoor patio space, with grills, benches, and landscaping for the veterans. They have hosted, and sponsored, several activities for the veterans in the program. Blain’s Farm and Fleet

KapStone Paper and Packaging

​

Provided a donation of $25,000.00 from their family foundation to help fund RVCP’s new Long-Term, Single Occupancy Housing project for homeless veterans who successfully complete our 24 month, Housing4OurVets, transitional program! Data Dimensions

​

Data Dimensions has provided invaluable support since inception of the veterans’ program in 2011. They have done a $5000.00 match in donations for our Annual Otter Trek Fundraiser (3rd Annual Frozen Otter Trek for Homeless Veterans). Forest County Potawatomi Foundation

​

The Forest County Potawatomi Foundation has generously supported our mission through multiple grants that have enhanced safety, accessibility, and quality of life for our veteran residents:

  • 2015: $12,230 to expand our on-site computer lab, improving access to employment, education, and benefits resources.

  • 2016: $15,000 to support facility changes enabling resident access to the Beloit-Janesville Express for reliable public transportation.

  • 2017: $10,194 to purchase six AED defibrillators for common areas, prioritizing the health of our aging veteran population.

  • 2019: $20,000 to install five handicap-accessible doors at all veteran facility entrances.

  • 2020–2022: $45,000 to renovate transitional living suites for our veterans.

The Home Depot Foundation

​

In 2016, the Home Depot Foundation provided RVCP will a grant of $100,000.00 to assist with the renovation of an existing wing for the long-term, single occupancy housing units for homeless veterans. Premier Tennis & Fitness

​

       In 2017, PTF approached Housing4OurVets about hosting Sweat4OurVets in order to raise money for the veterans living in our shelter. The first year was a huge success, raising nearly $8,000.00! In 2018, PTF hosted the 2nd Annual Sweat4OurVets, and once again did an incredible job, raising more than $13,000.00 for the veterans in our program! WHEDA Foundation

​

The WHEDA Foundation has played a key role in helping us grow and maintain safe, supportive housing for homeless veterans:

  • 2021: $30,000 to renovate a previously vacant wing, expanding our transitional housing capacity.

  • 2023: $50,000 to replace and upgrade three rooftop HVAC units, improving facility comfort and efficiency.

  • 2024: $30,245 to replace two additional HVAC units, ensuring continued safety and reliability in our facility.

In 2023, the WDVA awarded RVCP $40,000 to support renovations to our on-site Health & Wellness Center—enhancing our holistic approach to veteran care by addressing mind, body, and spirit. Please visit their website to learn more about their commitment to Wisconsin's Veterans.

Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin​

​

The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin has supported RVCP’s efforts to provide safe, stable housing for homeless veterans:

  • 2023: $9,985 to renovate veteran transitional living suites.

  • 2024: $10,000 to support ongoing programming for our Veterans Transitional Living Program.
